Our client is seeking a Systems Developer to join their Systems and Data Solutions team. This is a permanent, full-time role responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions across the organisation, working closely with key stakeholders and the Senior Business Analyst.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate with the Senior Business Analyst to understand and assess user change requests
- Engage with users to gather technical requirements and define solution objectives
- Develop and configure systems to meet user needs within agreed timescales
- Document technical processes to ensure continuity across the team
- Conduct code audits to maintain quality and compliance
- Provide technical advice to business users as needed
- Ensure solutions are designed in alignment with business requirements
- Develop test scripts for use with automated testing tools
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with IT systems
- Strong programming and systems development skills
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in a wealth management environment
- Good numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
