Senior Manager, Client Handling

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to join their Family Office Services team on a permanent, full-time basis. Based in Jersey, this role involves leading a client administration team and taking responsibility for the delivery of first-class services to a portfolio of complex, high-net-worth clients. This senior position offers the opportunity to drive client relationships, mentor team members, and contribute to operational excellence.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the operational and financial performance of a client administration team
  • Maintain high standards of client service in accordance with internal policies and procedures
  • Act as a role model and support a strong team culture with a focus on development and retention
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with corporate governance, regulatory requirements and internal controls
  • Act as a senior technical expert and escalation point on complex matters
  • Lead, manage, and develop team members to ensure engagement and continuous learning
  • Identify and nurture talent while addressing performance issues constructively
  • Allocate and manage team resourcing effectively, ensuring adequate coverage during absences
  • Maintain high levels of communication with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues
  • Act as an authorised signatory and manage complex client portfolios as needed
  • Travel to meet clients and intermediaries when required
  • Identify business opportunities and support new business development
  • Deputise for the Client Director or Associate Director when necessary
  • Monitor and manage financial performance of the client portfolio

Job Requirements:

  • JFSC “Table 4” qualification
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant industry experience, with strong team leadership background
  • Detailed understanding of Jersey’s finance industry, legislation, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and corporate structures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Commitment to personal CPD, maintaining at least 25 hours annually
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-making skills
  • Strategic approach to business development with commercial awareness
  • Proactive, disciplined, and able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
