Senior Manager, Cyber Risk Advisory

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to join their Cyber Risk Advisory team on a full-time basis in either Guernsey or Jersey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver cyber security and cyber risk engagements for a broad portfolio of financial services clients. You will help organisations define and manage their cyber risk exposure, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the cyber advisory offering.

Job Duties:

  • Lead and manage cyber risk advisory projects, overseeing deliverables, documentation and outputs
  • Own project commercials, including timelines and budget management
  • Act as a subject matter expert on cyber security matters across multiple client engagements
  • Deliver scalable engagement solutions, including transformation programmes and managed services
  • Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities to support their evolving cyber needs
  • Lead responses to RFPs and produce client proposals addressing cyber security challenges
  • Review and quality assure the work produced by junior team members, supporting their development
  • Work with senior leadership to expand the firm’s presence in the cyber risk advisory market
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns and author thought leadership content aligned to cyber risk
  • Liaise with global member firms and alliance partners to deliver cross-border advisory services

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within information security, technology risk, or cyber risk management
  • Strong knowledge of cyber risk management best practices and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, COBIT, COSO and PCI
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects and leading teams across multiple client accounts
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably in Information Technology
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead others
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage complex client relationships
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
