Our client is seeking a Senior / Trust Officer to join their Fiduciary Management team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will support the management of a portfolio of fiduciary entities including trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships. You will assist in delivering complex, bespoke services and ensuring the highest levels of compliance and client service across the Private Client Fiduciary Services business.
Job Duties:
- Support Fiduciaries in managing a portfolio of trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships
- Coordinate with Fiduciary Management, Fiduciary Structure Management, and Professional Services Group teams
- Assist with client and advisor meetings and help develop wider client relationships
- Provide procedural support for fiduciary processes
- Analyse client requests and escalate to Fiduciaries for technical input when needed
- Support fee reviews and ensure work in progress and debtors are regularly monitored and recoverable
- Sign client communications in accordance with internal procedures
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit points
- Provide mentoring or coaching to colleagues when appropriate
Job Requirements:
- Studying towards or holding a Category A or B qualification as recognised by the Jersey Financial Services Commission or Guernsey Financial Services Commission
- Proven experience in the fiduciary management of trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships
- Meets or exceeds minimum annual CPD requirements relevant to qualification and regulatory standards
- Strong organisational and communication skills with an ability to manage complex workstreams
- Collaborative approach to working with internal stakeholders and external clients
