Account Manager

Our client is seeking an Account Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will act as the key link between Relationship Managers, the Bank, and a designated portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, personalised client service across a range of banking activities, while also supporting ongoing client relationship management and operational effectiveness.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate and process client instructions
  • Manage the full lifecycle of payments, deposits, foreign exchange, securities transactions, and corporate actions
  • Provide a personalised and proactive service to clients
  • Prepare account opening documentation and assist with the onboarding process
  • Resolve queries related to incomplete or flagged information in collaboration with Relationship Managers and onboarding teams
  • Maintain client accounts to ensure compliance with group standards
  • Support Relationship Managers with transactional monitoring and remediation activities
  • Assist with client periodic reviews
  • Promote the Bank’s full offering including savings, FX, custody, and lending services
  • Coordinate client entertainment and relationship development activities
  • Stay up to date with applicable laws, regulations, and internal procedures
  • Contribute to the review and implementation of departmental processes

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a front office client support role, ideally within banking or trust services
  • Strong client focus with a drive to deliver exceptional service
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of banking, custody, FX, and credit products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organised with strong attention to detail
  • Effective team player with project management experience
  • Confident in using IT systems and tools
  • High level of risk awareness and adherence to compliance standards
  • Ability to support and develop client relationships alongside Relationship Managers
