Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced File Reviewer to join their compliance team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is central to ensuring trust and company client files meet internal standards and regulatory requirements through periodic, take-on, and exit reviews. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting compliance effectiveness and contributing to the organisation’s strong regulatory framework.
Job Duties:
- Conduct file reviews for trust and company clients, including take-on, periodic, and exit reviews
- Complete detailed checklists to assess file quality, completeness, and compliance
- Verify correct scanning, filing, and categorisation of documentation
- Ensure all client files are up to date and meet regulatory and internal policy requirements
- Review client identification and verification documentation for compliance with Jersey AML/CFT legislation
- Identify and escalate procedural breaches, risks, and deficiencies
- Report outstanding compliance matters using internal systems
- Maintain accurate records of file review findings
- Record time accurately against correct client/internal codes and submit weekly timesheets
- Maintain a minimum of 85% billable time
- Keep up to date with developments in trust and company administration, compliance standards, and regulatory changes
- Demonstrate open communication and collaboration with colleagues and management
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in compliance, risk management, or trust and company administration
- Holds or is actively studying towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICA, STEP), or has equivalent experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing documentation
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Capable of working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings effectively
- High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Willingness to accept guidance and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Ability to stay focused and productive during extended review tasks
