Accounts Receivable Administrator

Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator on a permanent basis. This role will appeal to an independent individual with a keen sense of curiosity and exceptional attention to detail, looking for an exciting challenge beyond traditional finance. Reporting directly to the Group Accountant, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with reservations teams globally, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely information as required.

Job Duties:

• Liaising closely with sales representatives, travel agents, and accounts teams.
• Cash allocation and reconciliation for multiple selling companies.
• Processing journal adjustments and refunds as necessary.
• Preparation of monthly statements.
• Ensuring compliance with agreed payment terms and chasing payments in accordance with the company’s debt collection policy.
• Monitoring outstanding balances.
• Assisting the Group Accountant on an ad hoc basis.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working within an accounts team, particularly in the reconciliation and processing of cash transactions.
• Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
• Level of professional training in finance or a related field is preferred.
