Associate Director, Private Client

Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Private Client Service Line. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be instrumental in managing and developing a diverse portfolio of clients. You will play a key role in implementing business strategies aimed at enhancing growth and expansion. Job Duties:

  • Supervise all aspects of administration and service for assigned client portfolios.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures while addressing all administration and client service matters.
  • Attend meetings with clients and advisors to cultivate relationships and provide excellent service.
  • Communicate efficiently with clients, their advisors, and third parties, ensuring timely responses to correspondence.
  • Administer trusts, companies, partnerships, and other legal entities while consulting with Directors on technical or legal matters.
  • Maintain relevant entity records and oversee the day-to-day management of client affairs.
  • Stay updated on developments within the sector to inform best practices.
  • Participate in management meetings relevant to the service line and jurisdiction as needed.
  • Act as an authorised signatory in accordance with company policies.
  • Actively source and drive new business opportunities, including identifying cross-selling chances.
  • Manage and develop team members, providing training and technical guidance, and oversee appraisal processes.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in Trust and Jersey Trust Law, Company Administration, or a similar financial services environment.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge in Trust Administration, Jersey Trust Law, Company Administration, Jersey Company Law, and tax implications of various structures.
  • Proven supervisory experience with strong IT proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines while exercising initiative and decision-making within company policies.
  • A proactive and solution-driven attitude, with a sound understanding of risk management.
