Our client is seeking a talented Associate Director, Fiduciary Management to join their dynamic team in Jersey. This pivotal role focuses on managing fiduciary structures within the Private Client Fiduciary Services (PCFS) business. As a higher-level signatory of the Fiduciary Board of the Trust companies, you will hold the authority to make critical decisions under the ‘four eyes’ principle for Trusts, Foundations, and Nomineeships. In addition, you will play a key role as a signatory for the Corporate Director and Corporate Secretarial companies, representing these entities while actively participating in the management of private enterprises and subsidiaries. Collaborating closely with the Sales & Relationship Management (S&RM) team, you will support the Director - Relationship Management (DRM) to ensure a seamless and high-quality service for all Wealth Management - International client relationships.
Job Duties:
- Deliver effective and efficient fiduciary services, prioritising client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with team members to drive the Wealth Management business strategy within the PCFS division, maximising fee income.
- Manage a complex and high-value portfolio of trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships.
- Engage in regular client and advisor visits, ensuring cost recovery where applicable.
- Review and refresh client strategic objectives, aligning fiduciary structures with clients' needs.
- Proactively drive fee reviews and negotiations to meet business plan targets for work in progress and fee collection.
- Coach, mentor, and support the PCFS team to achieve their potential through effective management practices.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects and embrace the firm’s cultural, behavioural, and leadership models.
- Maintain high standards of conduct and foster a positive team environment.
Job Requirements:
- An internationally recognised professional qualification, preferably as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Chartered Accountant, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, Chartered Association of Taxation, or a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Category A level).
- Proven managerial experience within the fiduciary services sector.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills.
- A proactive approach to change management, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
- Excellent attention to detail with competency across various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and efficient keyboard skills.
- A commitment to maintaining professional development and meeting regulatory requirements.
