Temporary Senior Fund Administrator, Open Ended Funds - 6 months

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team as a temporary Senior Fund Administrator for a fixed-term period of 6 months. With a strong emphasis on client service and operational excellence, this role is pivotal in supporting the Manager and Open-Ended Investment Team in the management and administration of two significant Open-Ended Investment Company (OEIC) structures. The successful candidate will leverage a minimum of 3 years of experience in the funds environment to elevate client deliverables and ensure the smooth operation of various fund-related tasks.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain a commitment to exceptional client service and delivery
  • Prepare all client deliverables including periodic valuations and reports
  • Address a varied range of client queries effectively
  • Perform bookkeeping for a diverse range of investment funds
  • Calculate dividends payable on the investment funds
  • Calculate and process fees payable by the investment funds
  • Input payments using online banking systems
  • Conduct KYC/AML checks on applicants for shares in the investment funds
  • Provide support to the team as required
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a funds environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure consistent high-quality work
  • Well-organised with a strong focus on accuracy and timely completion of tasks
  • Proficient administrative and numeracy skills
  • Ability to adapt to various tasks for different clients
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, and Access
  • Competence in managing own workload and prioritising tasks efficiently
  • Awareness of decision-making limits, ensuring prudent risk management
  • Flexibility to work under time pressures and adapt to changing demands
  • Proactive in seeking information and understanding external procedures related to applicable legislation
  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the team dynamics
