Our client, a leading offshore law firm and professional services business, is on the lookout for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Data & Analytics team. In this role, the Business Intelligence Analyst will develop analytical skills, build effective reports, and collaborate across teams to drive business growth through data-driven insights.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, primarily focusing on PowerBI dashboards, that effectively communicate data insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver customised visual analytics.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity, fostering trust in analytical outputs throughout the organisation.
- Conduct training sessions to empower teams to utilise available analytics tools and dashboards effectively.
- Learn and apply new business intelligence tools and data visualisation techniques to enhance work quality.
- Work closely with Data Engineers and specialists in the Data & Analytics team to deliver holistic solutions.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and peer reviews to support continuous improvement within the team.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, with a portfolio of dashboards and analytical solutions.
- Proficiency in at least one business intelligence tool (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Looker) and a willingness to learn new tools.
- Solid SQL skills for data querying complemented by a basic understanding of data manipulation languages such as DAX.
- Strong design sensibility with the ability to create clear, user-friendly data presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective explanations of work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capability to manage workload effectively, handling multiple projects while following appropriate guidance.
- A collaborative spirit with a desire to learn from senior team members.
