Assistant Manager, Fiduciary Investment Review

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Fiduciary Investment Review team. This is a prominent role with responsibility for oversight of performance and risk in relation to client investment portfolios across various Trust locations. This position offers a full-time opportunity.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in leading the team responsible for undertaking client investment portfolio reviews.
  • Ensure that investment reviews are conducted in line with Group Policy and relevant regulation.
  • Complete internal portfolio reviews against market benchmarks and peer groups.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external service providers involved in the investment review process.
  • Collaborate with and support employees while liaising with external parties, including third-party investment managers, on matters related to client investment performance and risk.
  • Review permanent documentation and make decisions on the nature and frequency of investment reviews to be undertaken.
  • Support and oversee the ongoing remediation and enhancement of portfolio-related data within core administration systems.
  • Use data from existing business intelligence systems and prepare it according to the requirements of various stakeholders.
  • Prepare information for and assist the team manager with chairing and leading meetings of the Fiduciary Investment Committee in different jurisdictions, ensuring these committees function according to the established Terms of Reference.
  • Support the manager in the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Competent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in presenting information to a diverse range of audiences, including senior management.
  • Excellent IT user skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Capability to work quickly and accurately while applying analytical skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • A broad interest in investment market portfolio management.
