Temporary Administrator, Asset Services - 12 months

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Administrator to join the Banking, Payment & Reconciliation Oversight team for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role is based in Jersey and aims to provide effective administrative support to the Banking, Payment & Reconciliation team, as well as to various business lines and Malaysian Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively monitoring the services provided by the Malaysian team and assisting with the collection of key performance and risk indicator data related to outsourced activities. Additionally, the role will involve support in developing change requests or process adjustments to enhance efficiency across the operational teams. Our client values flexibility, allowing for up to one day of remote work each week, dependent on working arrangements.

Job Duties:

  • Undertake process sampling and quality assurance on Banking, Payment & Reconciliation services.
  • Conduct process sampling/quality assurance across Banking and Payment products and services.
  • Support the collection of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) data, developing monthly reports for the Outsourced Services Oversight Committee.
  • Monitor outsourced Reconciliation and Investigation activities to ensure compliance with documented procedures.
  • Maintain and continuously develop test cases.
  • Identify processing efficiencies and suggest work reduction practices.
  • Collaborate with key business partners to ensure effective controls and services in line with SLAs.
  • Assist in the review and development of operational procedures and process maps.
  • Escalate identified risks to management for review.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience supporting Banking, Payment & Reconciliation activities within a high-volume business.
  • A practical understanding of Banking and Treasury Products.
  • Some understanding of the products offered by the various business lines is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of SWIFT is a plus.
