Vice President, Corporate Secretarial, Client Services

Our client is a global leader in fund services and corporate governance, seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee their Corporate Secretarial - Client Services function. This role offers the chance to manage teams across multiple locations and work closely with senior management to drive growth and enhance client servicing. This is a full-time position.

Job Duties:

  • Lead, develop and manage the respective Corporate Secretarial team(s) across various locations.
  • Collaborate with management to implement client service strategies and explore opportunities for both current and prospective clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Drive client integrations and launches, ensuring effective internal communication with various departments.
  • Negotiate service level agreements and take ownership of client relationships and service delivery.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for local corporate and legal issues, monitoring legal and regulatory changes.
  • Attend board meetings and act as a director or other officer of client entities where necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services.
  • Support the Operations team in identifying process improvements to minimise operational risk and improve efficiencies.
  • Review and maintain compliance with internal and external processes and procedures.
  • Participate in recruitment and appraisals to build a best-in-class team, set performance goals, and monitor progress.
  • Utilize key performance indicators to measure and report on the effectiveness of client services activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in law or equivalent Corporate Secretarial qualifications.
  • 7-9 years’ experience in a corporate environment, with 3-5 years in a managerial role, preferably gained through an international firm.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, motivate staff, and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Experience in an international environment, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Expertise in statutory and regulatory requirements in the Alternative Asset management industry, with experience in SPVs and/or funds.
  • Proven track record in developing and optimising business processes within a corporate secretarial offering.
  • Fluency in English, with additional regional languages being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with global teams and adapt to different communication styles.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and willing to travel for business meetings.
