Senior Administrator, Executive Compensation Services

Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Executive Compensation Services team in Jersey. This permanent position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role as the day-to-day contact for a substantial portfolio of clients, including key accounts. They will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with these clients, supported by an experienced Client Director or Manager. This role offers variety and the chance to expand one's knowledge in a niche and growing area. The successful candidate will work closely with their manager to effectively administer a diverse portfolio of incentive structures, whilst also managing their workloads independently. The role also entails the opportunity to specialise in areas of particular interest, be it technical specialisation, people management, business development, or onboarding support.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with management to administer diverse incentive structures while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Work independently, managing, diarising, and prioritising daily workloads proactively.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Communicate openly and honestly with clients and team members to address client requests promptly.
  • Ensure client records are consistently updated with correspondence and reflect transactions accurately.
  • Comply with relevant regulatory requirements while adhering to internal policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor Trainee Administrators and Administrators as appropriate, providing feedback on performance and identifying training needs.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Working towards or considering a professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ICSA, STEP).
  • Preferably some experience in employment-related reward structures (e.g. share plans, nominee arrangements).
  • Strong trust or financial services background will be considered.
  • Committed to achieving excellence for oneself, the team, and clients.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish good relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good academic background.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • A desire to learn and ambition to grow in the role.
