Administrator, Private Clients

Our client is seeking an Administrator to join their Private Client team on a permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. The team focuses on supporting wealthy families, family offices, and owner-managed businesses, managing a diverse portfolio of private client structures. This role demands strong attention to detail, initiative, and the capability to deliver a discreet, high-quality service. As an Administrator, you will be instrumental in maintaining excellent relationships with clients and ensuring high standards of service delivery. You will collaborate closely with team members while working independently on assigned tasks. The role provides an excellent opportunity to build a solid foundation in fiduciary services and private client administration. Job Duties:

  • Support the administration of a portfolio of private clients across various trust and company structures.
  • Take ownership of tasks and work independently, while being a reliable support to senior team members.
  • Build strong technical knowledge of client structures and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute proactive, innovative ideas to enhance daily processes and team efficiency.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients in line with service standards.
  • Accurately record time spent on client matters to support correct invoicing.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns.
  • Assist with opening bank accounts, processing payments, and maintaining banking records.
  • Maintain document permanents, safe custody records, and protector consent files.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar fiduciary or private client administration role.
  • Studying towards or holding a relevant professional qualification (ICSA/STEP preferred).
  • Ability to work independently, using initiative and sound judgement.
  • Strong academic background and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and willing to grow your expertise.
  • Broad understanding of fiduciary services and private client structures.
