Senior Manager, Private Clients

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager in Private Clients to lead a diverse portfolio and ensure exceptional service delivery to high net-worth individuals, family offices, and corporate clients. The role is full-time and offers a competitive salary, hybrid working arrangement, and flexible working hours. The responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for clients, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and relationship management skills. The successful candidate will proactively engage with clients to build long-lasting relationships based on trust and professionalism, thereby minimising client churn. This position will also involve providing technical guidance, ensuring operational excellence within the team, and monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Senior Manager will be responsible for instilling a culture of financial management best practices and driving profitability through regular review and strategic action. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills for acting as a fiduciary director on client boards, in line with statutory regulations.

Job Duties:

  • Act as the senior lead for a diverse portfolio of clients, demonstrating strong commerciality and excellent relationship management skills to meet and exceed financial targets.
  • Proactively meet clients to establish long-term relationships and build trust through empathy and professionalism, reducing client churn.
  • Serve as the escalation point for technical guidance and complex service or sales issues.
  • Drive operational excellence by coaching team members to deliver a client-centric service while ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management while identifying process efficiencies and continuous improvements.
  • Develop skills to act in a fiduciary capacity as a director on client boards in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participate proactively in projects to generate innovative operational ideas and constructively challenge the status quo.
  • Drive profitability, including monitoring the preparation of fee proposals, resource allocation, time recording, invoicing, collections, and cost management.
  • Regularly review the profitability of each entity and engage in necessary remedial action.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of trust and company administration or relevant experience.
  • Suitable management experience.
  • Desirable: A professional qualification to Professional Level (e.g., ICSA/STEP/CGI).
  • Comprehensive understanding and strong technical knowledge of Trust Administration, Company Law, and the tax implications of various structures.
  • Meet the required standards set by the local regulator.
