Senior Technical Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive support across multiple sites. This full-time position focuses on Microsoft OS support, Citrix, and Office 365. The successful candidate will possess robust technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Server administration, and a genuine passion for IT support. The role demands flexibility for on-site visits, as well as excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel to other offices as required. With a minimum of three years’ experience in IT support roles, candidates should be well-versed in Office 365 and Intune, while skills in Azure or Hyper-V are highly desirable. Job Duties:

• Deliver support across multiple sites, addressing requests from graduate level to Directors.
• Provide expertise in Microsoft Server build, migration, and support.
• Maintain and support desktop virtualization solutions.
• Proficiently handle technologies such as Active Directory, Intune, Office 365, Exchange, and Azure Infrastructure.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of virtualization, with expertise in VMware.
• Engage with a diverse user base and collaborate effectively with teams across various locations.
• Demonstrate a passion for in-house IT support and commit to continuous learning.
• Be open to travel to other offices to support additional sites when required.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of experience in IT support roles.
• Experience in Microsoft Server administration and Citrix.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Dell backup and replication, Dell storage, and VDI solutions is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
• GCSE (Grades A-C) in relevant subjects and relevant IT qualifications at GCSE/A Level (Grades A-C).
