Assistant Client Relationship Manager, Family Office Team

Our client is seeking an Assistant Client Relationship Manager to join their Family Office Team in Guernsey. The role involves providing efficient and high-quality administration services to a dynamic, multi-billion family trust structure that collaborates daily with a large family office located abroad. The portfolio includes a diverse range of assets such as listed trading companies, traditional financial investments, private equity, tech start-ups, art, property, private jets, and yachts. This position will require working closely with a team to ensure that projects are completed timely and efficiently while aligning with the Company's values. Responsibilities will include assisting with risk management, acting as a signatory, and providing financial information to support the preparation of financial statements. The ideal candidate will maintain proactive relationships with clients while ensuring that all activities comply with legal and regulatory frameworks. Job Duties:

  • Provide efficient administration services to a multi-billion family trust structure
  • Assist with both short and long-term administration projects
  • Mitigate risk factors through the review and management of compliance work
  • Act as a signatory
  • Supply financial information for financial statement preparation
  • Undertake FATCA/CRS reporting and similar tasks
  • Liaise with intermediaries to meet client expectations
  • Build and maintain proactive relationships with clients and family offices
  • Open client bank/investment accounts and related tasks
  • Prepare payments and monitor transactions
  • Maintain business databases and support team members
  • Keep up to date with CPD requirements and industry developments
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Strong relevant experience in client relationship management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of managing trust structures is advantageous
  • Professional qualification in STEP, CGI, ACCA, or equivalent, or working towards it
  • Proactive, forward-thinking, and able to work independently
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and KPIs
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for responsible ambition
