Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to manage a varied client portfolio within the Private Client Services department on a permanent basis. This role operates within a hybrid workplace structure, allowing for flexibility between home and office work. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Manager or Senior Manager and will be responsible for ensuring effective administration and management of client relationships, risk awareness, and adherence to contractual obligations. Duties will include managing the billing process with a focus on recoverability, conducting client structure reviews, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The role will also involve supervising junior team members, providing training, and conducting performance reviews where necessary. This position requires strong analytical and organisational skills, as well as the ability to present information succinctly and clearly to both clients and management.
Job Duties:
- Administer and manage a varied client portfolio within agreed timescales.
- Oversee the billing process, ensuring efficiency to minimise write-offs and maintain division’s KPIs.
- Conduct reviews of client structures, monitoring risk exposure and compliance with obligations.
- Assist line manager in preparing reports for management meetings.
- Review and interpret legal and tax advice as needed.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of the team’s central diary systems to meet deadlines.
- Provide a professional service to clients and intermediaries.
- Supervise and train junior team members, managing appraisals and performance evaluations as required.
- Promote the range of services offered by the Group to existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date client records are maintained on client desktop.
- Adhere to compliance procedures related to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
- Fulfil CPD requirements in line with qualifications and company procedures.
- Deputise for the line manager in their absence.
- Undertake any additional duties as deemed necessary by management.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Minimum of 5 years extensive administration experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Capacity to collate and present information clearly and concisely.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Competent in all Microsoft applications.
- Hold or be studying towards STEP or ICSA qualification.
