Administrator, Private Clients

Our client is seeking an experienced Administrator for their Private Client team on a permanent basis. This rewarding role involves administering a diverse client portfolio under the supervision of a Line Manager. The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of client portfolios, encompassing risk awareness, relationship management, and the fulfilment of contractual and statutory obligations. As part of a hybrid workplace structure, you will balance remote and in-office work effectively. This position promises ample opportunities for growth and development within the Private Client Services division. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage deadlines efficiently while ensuring a high level of client care.

Job Duties:

  • Administer and monitor a client portfolio, actively investigating and suggesting enhancements to ensure timely and effective client care.
  • Complete the review process for client entities, acknowledging risk exposure and fulfilling responsibilities under review procedures.
  • Review legal and tax advice as necessary, and interpret/implement relevant guidance.
  • Maintain accuracy in the central diary system pertinent to the client portfolio, ensuring deadlines are recorded and met.
  • Keep precise and up-to-date records of client entities, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations.
  • Manage billing and cash collection processes, striving to minimise write-offs.
  • Assist in training and managing junior team members.
  • Maintain 90% chargeable time and adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures as well as AML legislation.
  • Uphold continual professional development (CPD) requirements in line with qualification level and in-house procedures.
  • Embrace the core values and guiding principles of the organisation.
  • Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong ability to work to deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks.
  • Extensive experience in administration roles.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to collate and present information clearly and concisely.
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
  • Relevant professional qualification or progress towards one is desirable.
