Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of a varied portfolio of Employee Benefit Trust (EBT) structures. This full-time role is based in St Helier, Jersey, offering the opportunity to work autonomously while supporting the team and senior employees to ensure accurate and efficient completion of workload. The successful candidate will develop a wide knowledge and understanding of employee share plan administration, including compliance, anti-money laundering, and relevant legislation. Job Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of a varied portfolio of more complex EBT structures.
- Assist the Senior Client Manager in ensuring that group workloads are completed to the highest standards within agreed timescales.
- Develop close working relationships with clients and provide innovative answers to their queries while ensuring compliance with KYC procedures.
- Support the Senior Client Manager in guiding and motivating staff, ensuring professional workloads without risk to the firm or clients.
- Ensure timely billing and debt collection while negotiating fees satisfactorily.
- Assist in the development of new business and maintain awareness of issues affecting the offshore industry.
- Attend marketing events and functions as appropriate to foster client relationships.
- Support the strategic goals of the organisation by generating operational ideas and constructively challenging the status quo.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required for this role.
Job Requirements:
- Enhanced level of technical knowledge with a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA Intermediate level, ICSA Diploma, CIB, STEP Diploma) and experience at a senior administration level in the offshore industry.
- Excellent organisational and client management skills, comprehensive knowledge of current EBT legislation, and the local regulatory environment.
- Professional demeanour with the ability to relate to individuals at all levels and respond effectively to client needs.
- Advanced technical knowledge, including familiarity with trust company software and systems, along with strong management skills.
- Good time management skills and a thorough understanding of client files and financial management issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for maintaining and developing client relationships, with sensitivity to marketing opportunities.
- Flexibility to attend after-hours functions where relevant.
- Reasonable knowledge of organisational strategy and policies, with a detailed understanding of compliance and technical issues to act as a role model for peers and junior staff.
- Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) as a requirement for all trust company business employees.
