Senior Administrator, Private Clients

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Administrator to join their progressive team within the Private Client Services department. This role involves providing comprehensive administration services to an international client base and managing a complex client portfolio, which may include Trusts, Companies, Foundations, and Limited Partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with team members, intermediaries, and clients. Additionally, the Senior Administrator will provide day-to-day training to Assistant Administrators, fostering their confidence and knowledge in Trust and Corporate services. This role is vital for the accurate administration and billing of client portfolios, along with overseeing financial statements and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. Job Duties:

  • Administer a complex client portfolio, including Trusts, Companies, Foundations, and Limited Partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with team members, intermediaries, clients, and client advisors.
  • Provide day-to-day training to Assistant Administrators, enhancing their understanding of Trust and Corporate services.
  • Manage billing and debt collection for assigned client portfolios.
  • Conduct initial reviews of annual Financial Statements for client portfolios.
  • Involve in the acquisition, monitoring, management, and disposal of assets within the client portfolio following relevant policies and procedures.
  • Prepare written correspondence, Board/Trustee minutes, and checklists, or review such work if training an Assistant Administrator.
  • Maintain client files in an orderly manner, ensuring timely and correct filing of documents, or review such work if responsible for training.
  • Attend to CRS/FATCA reporting preparatory work and analysis.
  • Review periodic assessments prepared by the independent Case Review Administrator and resolve any findings.
  • Prepare annual returns and various jurisdictions’ tax returns for entities under administration.
  • Provide general assistance to other team members or management as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Preference for CGI/STEP Diploma or equivalent; Qualified Accountant (through a professional body) or a relevant functional qualification.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Strong client focus with a drive to deliver quality service and set standards.
  • A commercial outlook with adherence to procedures, innovative work methods, and risk management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated active learning and shared learning experiences.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge and experience.
  • Some management responsibility skills and experience are advantageous.
