Associate Director, Private Client

Our client is seeking an Associate Director for their Private Client division, responsible for the high-level oversight of a portfolio of complex trust and company structures. The role entails ensuring that the service quality meets excellent, agreed professional standards while establishing prompt, effective responses to client needs. Candidates will work alongside their team to foster strong client relationships, attending both local and international meetings as required. The Associate Director will also provide guidance to staff to ensure their focus remains on quality administration, with responsibilities including training and development. This position involves decision-making in the absence of Directors, implementing policy changes aligned with the company's strategic objectives, and monitoring the team's investment portfolios in accordance with procedures. The role is full-time and central to delivering outstanding client service and overseeing complex transactions.

Job Duties:

  • High-level oversight of the administration of a complex portfolio of trust and company structures.
  • Ensure the quality of client service adheres to professional standards.
  • Manage the workflow to ensure prompt and proactive client responses.
  • Engage with clients and professional advisors, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Assist the team with complex transactions and resolutions.
  • Make independent decisions concerning client and business affairs as necessary.
  • Implement policy changes in line with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor performance of investment portfolios and deliver on risk review targets.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role overseeing trust and company structures.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on client service and team development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage complex client relationships and business affairs.
  • Financial acumen to oversee departmental budgets and performance metrics.
  • Proven track record in new business generation and maintaining profitable client relationships.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to contribute to the business direction.
