Temporary Senior Administrator, Asset Services - 12 months

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join the Asset Services team in Jersey on a 12-month secondment or fixed-term contract. This role involves performing complex operational tasks with accuracy and efficiency, supporting daily team activities while mitigating operational risks and maintaining data integrity. The Senior Administrator will require a solid foundation in operational procedures and practices, assisting in issue resolution, and identifying and implementing process improvements. Additionally, the role involves supporting junior team members through knowledge sharing to ensure the smooth operation of business processes and contributing to the achievement of organisational goals. Our client expects all employees and contractors to work in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week, depending on arrangements.

Job Duties:

  • Ensure work is produced to a high level of accuracy, in a timely manner, and to relevant service level agreements (SLAs) and operational standards.
  • Support the line manager in keeping departmental guides, processes, and procedures current, as well as aiding the accurate production of management information (MI) and reporting.
  • Escalate issues appropriately to management concerning risks, errors, and daily workload completion.
  • Understand team goals and their relationship to the wider group strategy.
  • Adhere to the Risk & Control Framework and Policy Framework, engaging proactively in regulatory and audit reviews.
  • Simplify and innovate using knowledge and experience; support line managers in identifying and implementing continuous improvement areas in conjunction with Operations Initiatives.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on project work and take responsibility for complex queries.

  • Practical knowledge of the financial services sector is essential.
