Senior Client Service Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Client Service Manager to provide exemplary service to a multi-billion pound fiduciary client within the Institutional Fiduciary Team. This role encompasses all elements of finance, including banking, fiduciary services, custody, and funds management. The client is a Saudi Arabian educational institution managing its endowment through 70 Guernsey companies, with investments directed towards real estate, private equity, hedge funds, and traditional market assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the investment programme, including the completion of subscription documentation, capital call payments, and transaction executions. Daily interaction with the client is expected, fostering a robust working relationship with them and other service providers. This full-time position provides an excellent opportunity to engage in high-quality client service within a supportive team environment.

Job Duties:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of company and trust structures on behalf of the client, collaborating with internal partners, advisors, and managers to deliver exceptional service.
  • Balance client expectations with appropriate fiduciary risk management and due diligence.
  • Prepare and execute minutes and resolutions as required.
  • Execute all necessary authorised documentation and payments.
  • Review financial statements as necessary.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding the fiduciary entities within their portfolio, depending on the specific client.
  • Plan and attend client and advisor meetings.
  • Act as an authorised signatory.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements across client structures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and client records in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Proactively collaborate with the fiduciary team and internal partners to identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a point of contact for service-related issues.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a finance role, with a strong desire to develop and learn new skills within a successful business and high-performing team.
  • Continuous development of knowledge to stay updated with fiduciary best practices.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and changes for Guernsey and other relevant jurisdictions.
  • Highly professional approach to work and client interactions, particularly regarding privacy.
  • Existing qualification or a keen interest in pursuing a professional ICSA or STEP qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good numeracy and computer skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management capabilities.
  • Experience in maintaining client relationships, teamwork, negotiation, and sales is advantageous.
