Knowledge & Innovation Assistant

Our client is seeking a Knowledge and Innovation Assistant to support the delivery of knowledge and innovation solutions to the global practice. This role focuses on maintaining all knowledge resources while ensuring risk management, quality control, and consistency across teams and offices. Ideal for an individual keen to develop a career in legal operations, the successful candidate will play a critical role in several key functions. Duties include maintaining the global precedent and know-how database, developing AI resources, and automating documents for relevant practice teams. Additionally, the role involves curating content on global knowledge platforms, providing current awareness updates, and assisting with legal and business research. The ability to maintain project documentation and support onboarding for new starters will further complement the role. Job Duties:

  • Maintain and develop the global precedent and know-how database, ensuring its integrity through strict quality control processes.
  • Assist in the continued development of AI resources, agents, and training.
  • Apply house style to knowledge documents and support its adoption across the global practice.
  • Automate documents and maintain templates for related teams.
  • Assist in new legal operations projects, maintaining project documentation and attending project meetings.
  • Curate and maintain content on global knowledge platforms.
  • Provide current awareness updates using the Vable platform.
  • Assist with legal and business research to support client matters.
  • Assist with onboarding new starters.

Job Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in law or a related subject.
  • Experience in a law firm or a law degree is essential.
  • Strong IT skills with experience using AI tools.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • A client-centric approach to services.
  • Ability to represent the team and the firm professionally and positively.
