Temporary Senior Recruitment Officer - 3 months

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Officer to join their People & Culture team on a temporary part-time contract, lasting approximately three months. This role requires availability from Monday to Friday for approximately three hours each day, with flexibility in start and finish times. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end administration and support services related to the recruitment function across the trust group. This position offers the opportunity to work in a friendly environment, actively contributing to the full recruitment process, which includes advising managers, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and providing feedback to candidates. The role also includes maintaining relationships with local recruitment agencies, managing recruitment invoicing, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. Additionally, the Senior Recruitment Officer will be tasked with maintaining and developing the applicant tracking system and may engage in ad-hoc projects of a technical nature.

Job Duties:

  • Active involvement throughout the full recruitment process, advising managers on recruitment matters.
  • Uploading vacancies to the website and screening and shortlisting applications.
  • Scheduling interviews, providing feedback to candidates, and preparing recruitment offers.
  • Maintaining relationships with local recruitment agencies and providing regular vacancy updates.
  • Arranging payment of recruitment invoices in accordance with agency terms of business.
  • Adhering to employment laws, compliance, GDPR, and in-house policies and procedures.
  • Performing 4-eye checks for recruitment offers and calculations.
  • Maintaining and developing the applicant tracking system (Pinpoint) and ensuring necessary training for team members.
  • Delivering ad-hoc projects, which may be of a technical nature.

Job Requirements:

  • Attained Level 3 CIPD; Level 5 CIPD Diploma is preferred or in progress.
  • Solid understanding of local employment legislation and best practices, with awareness of Swiss, Cayman, and UK legislation.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to produce and review documentation, demonstrating high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient analytical skills to suggest improvements to working methods or new processes.
  • Capability to work to deadlines and project plans, ensuring objectives are met with moderate direction.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to suggest relevant courses of action that consider business and client service excellence.
  • Supervisory skills to prioritise and assign work whilst monitoring performance.
