IT Support Analyst

The company is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join their team in Jersey. This full-time position is critical for maintaining high-quality IT support services for both internal teams and external vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network issues, as well as enhancing processes to ensure system security and efficiency.

Job Duties:

  • Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage and prioritise support tickets, escalating when necessary
  • Assist with network security and access controls
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors
  • Deliver on-the-job training and support to colleagues
  • Suggest improvements to IT systems and processes
  • Stay updated with IT best practices and security measures
  • Support the Head of Information Technology in achieving business objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Professional IT qualifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Technician, or Level 3 BTEC Diploma in IT) are desirable
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (grades A to C or equivalent)
  • Reasonable level of physical fitness for physical tasks
  • Knowledge of current IT systems, including Microsoft servers, VMware, and Citrix
  • Strong understanding of customer service and quality support
