Client Reporting Executive

Our client is seeking a Client Reporting Executive (Trust Accountant) to join their team in Guernsey. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements of trust and fiduciary structures in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards or relevant regulatory requirements, with support from Senior Trust Accountants. This role includes performing periodic reconciliation of internal accounting records to portfolio statements from financial institutions, as well as managing automated data feeds from third-party custodians. The Client Reporting Executive will also support quarterly and annual investment monitoring processes, coordinate with internal teams, and liaise with external client stakeholders such as advisors, bankers, lawyers, and consultants in close collaboration with Client Services. The candidate will participate in various Client Reporting and Investment Monitoring improvement projects and initiatives, focusing on automation, system development, and standardisation.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare financial statements of trust and fiduciary structures.
  • Perform periodic reconciliation of internal accounting records to portfolio statements.
  • Manage automated data feeds from third-party custodians.
  • Support quarterly and annual investment monitoring processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and liaise with external client stakeholders.
  • Participate in Client Reporting and Investment Monitoring improvement projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or part-qualified with relevant experience.
  • Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with colleagues across all seniority levels and work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude who is client-, service-, and solution-oriented.
