Senior Manager, Private Clients

This role is a full-time opportunity based in Saint Helier, Jersey, providing the successful candidate with the chance to lead private client services within a diverse client portfolio. The Senior Manager will be responsible for client leadership, ensuring a strong commercial focus while fostering long-term relationships grounded in professionalism and trust. The role includes serving as the senior escalation point for complex technical and service issues, as well as maintaining operational excellence through team coaching. The Senior Manager will also oversee risk and compliance measures, support fiduciary development, and contribute to various projects. Financial management is critical to this position, including oversight of fee proposals, invoicing, and cost control measures. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive profitability while participating in innovative process improvements.

Job Duties:

  • Lead a diverse client portfolio focusing on relationship management and financial targets
  • Build long-term client relationships through proactive engagement and professionalism
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical and service-related issues
  • Coach team members to provide client-centric service and maintain accurate data
  • Ensure effective controls and regulatory compliance while identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Develop capability to act as a director on client boards in accordance with statutory requirements
  • Participate in projects, bringing innovative ideas and challenging existing processes constructively
  • Drive profitability through strong financial discipline, including oversight of invoicing and collections
  • Regularly assess entity-level profitability and implement necessary remedial actions

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in trust and company administration or a relevant field
  • Suitable management experience
  • Desirable: A professional qualification to Professional Level (e.g., ICSA/STEP/CGI)
  • Comprehensive understanding and strong technical knowledge of Trust Administration, Company Law, and tax implications of various structures
