Trainee Administrator, Client Services

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop in a diverse position that is vital to business success within the Client Services department. The Trainee Administrator will support the wider Trust and Corporate Services team in managing a varied portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include client relationship management, governance services, and administrative tasks within a dynamic and supportive environment. Working hours and contract length are to be confirmed. This position allows the individual to gain valuable experience while contributing to the operational excellence of the organisation, ensuring adherence to company values and vision.

Job Duties:

  • Provide assistance to the administrators and client management team
  • Prepare draft minutes and resolutions for entities under management (companies, limited partnerships, and trusts)
  • Prepare payments on electronic banking systems and by written instruction when required, ensuring availability of funds and sufficient documentation for authorisers
  • Assist with updating client statutory records and statutory databases/registers
  • Aid in the opening of bank accounts, including preparation of minutes
  • Assist with bookkeeping for entities under management
  • Consider "Money Laundering" and "Customer Due Diligence" issues, reporting any concerns as appropriate
  • Provide general assistance with various projects as requested
  • Complete and input time in the time billing system on a daily basis
  • Undertake any additional duties required in accordance with the role, team, and evolving nature of the function

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Organised and able to use initiative
  • High level of accuracy with good attention to detail
  • Sound academic background with a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grades A-C, including English and Mathematics
  • Desire to undertake or be working towards an industry-recognised qualification
  • Previous general office experience preferred, but not essential
