Front End Developer

This role involves designing, configuring, developing and enhancing business application solutions that support processes, workflows, and operational services. It focuses on improving business efficiency, user experience, and control across core platforms and application-led services. This position offers the opportunity to contribute effectively to the broader development, integration, and service transition activities within a pivotal technology division. The successful candidate will play a significant part in shaping the evolution of the business application estate, addressing the current reliance on external contractors, and promoting the modernisation of workflows. Job Duties:

• Actively deliver business application changes and enhancements in accordance with established requirements and governance.
• Develop application-led workflows, forms, rules, and related functionalities to enhance process consistency and user experience.
• Ensure business application solutions are maintained with appropriate documentation, testing, and support readiness.
• Strengthen application platforms and workflow-led services to evolve internal capabilities.
• Reduce dependency on ad hoc or poorly managed changes through improved engineering discipline and clear ownership.
• Support business outcomes through application change without introducing technical debt or support risks.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in developing, configuring, or enhancing enterprise business applications and workflow-led services.
• Strong grasp of how application changes should facilitate business processes, control, and user experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, support teams, suppliers, and technical colleagues.
• Good analytical skills with a practical approach to solution design, testing, and documentation.
• Familiarity with controlled change, governance, and service transition expectations within an enterprise environment.
• Adaptability in approach, with breadth across different technologies rather than a narrow focus on specific products or platforms.
