This position seeks an experienced and highly organised trust professional to join a dynamic Family Office Team. The role involves managing a diverse set of responsibilities aimed at delivering exceptional service to Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients. A client-centric and solution-driven approach is paramount, as the successful applicant will oversee the maintenance of client information and statutory records, complete bookkeeping tasks up to trial balance, and engage in regular communication with bankers and intermediaries. Job Duties:
- Set up and maintain the client information database and statutory records, including minutes of directors' and shareholders' meetings.
- Complete day-to-day bookkeeping for companies and trusts up to trial balance, including all monthly reconciliations.
- Assist team members with the opening and closing of entity bank accounts, reviewing any inconsistencies in incoming funds.
- Liaise with bankers regarding remittance of money, deposit accounts, and investment transactions.
- Prepare necessary documentation and notes for intermediary meetings.
- Discuss technical matters with senior team members to enhance understanding of tasks.
- Work towards competency in the formation of legal entities and trusts, along with knowledge of registry requirements.
- Act in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures, demonstrating comprehension of their impact on daily operations.
- Update the timekeeping system in line with expectations and strive to meet utilisation targets.
Job Requirements:
- A sound understanding of tasks across a variety of activities, utilising multiple methods and techniques.
- May have attained or be working towards STEP or CGI qualifications, fulfilling CPD requirements.
- Effective communication skills, with the capability to engage with a diverse range of individuals and adapt style as necessary.
- Ability to identify and resolve non-complex issues with appropriate support and direction.
- Proficient in prioritising tasks and completing them to meet deadlines with guidance.
- Demonstrate a positive and committed approach to teamwork, recognising the importance of collaboration in delivering excellent client service.
