Channel Islands Marketing Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing professional to lead high-impact marketing activity across the Channel Islands.

This senior role will take ownership of regional marketing strategy, brand development, communications, campaigns and events. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will create and deliver commercially focused marketing plans that strengthen brand awareness, support business growth and generate measurable results.

The successful candidate will be a proactive, strategic and commercially minded marketer with extensive experience across the full marketing mix.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and deliver regional marketing strategies, plans and campaigns.
  • Lead brand awareness, communications, content and event activity.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to align marketing activity with business objectives.
  • Create detailed campaign plans, schedules and briefs.
  • Manage multiple campaigns, budgets, resources and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, specialist partners and freelancers.
  • Produce high-quality client communications across traditional and digital channels.
  • Identify opportunities to support commercial growth and improve marketing performance.
  • Monitor campaign results and optimise activity using performance data and market insight.
  • Ensure all marketing activity meets relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare campaign updates, performance reports and post-campaign evaluations.
  • Support community engagement and corporate responsibility initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • At least eight years’ experience in marketing strategy, campaign management and delivery.
  • Previous experience within financial services or another regulated industry is preferred.
  • Strong experience in brand development and regional marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge of traditional and digital marketing channels.
  • Strong communications, content, email marketing and campaign-management experience.
  • Proven ability to develop marketing strategies and gain support from senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a clear focus on return on investment.
  • A data-led approach with experience analysing and optimising campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience working with offshore jurisdictions would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams and travelling occasionally.
