Pension Administrator

This role provides a comprehensive involvement in pension administration, supporting the Client Services Team. It necessitates a wide array of responsibilities due to the operation's scale, with full training provided. The Pension Administrator will collaborate closely with the Client Services Team to manage day-to-day administration of various pension schemes. The position requires effective communication with clients via telephone, email, or letter, and encompasses liaising with intermediaries and investment houses. Duties involve managing client event maintenance, preparing withdrawal requests for member benefits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. The role is full-time, comprising 35 hours per week, ideally from 9 am to 5 pm, with a competitive salary benchmarked to experience. Candidates with relevant pension administration and/or trust and company experience will be preferred.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Client Services Team with daily pension scheme administration.
  • Maintain client event records, ensuring direct communication with clients.
  • Liaise with intermediaries for service provision and communication.
  • Interact with investment houses and UK/local pension schemes as required.
  • Prepare withdrawal requests for pension benefits and Trustee fees.
  • Update databases and manage documentation preparation and dispatch.
  • Address client instructions, queries, and requests efficiently.
  • Execute administrative tasks connected to pension structures.
  • Ensure compliance with Anti Money Laundering regulations and maintain Client Customer Due Diligence (CDD).

Job Requirements:

  • GCSE qualification (grade C or above) in English and Maths, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • Experience working effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant pension administration and/or trust and company experience preferred.
