Contract Account Life Cycle Analyst - 12 months

This one year contract role involves working within the Business Implementation (BI) Team, which is responsible for all operational aspects of onboarding and offboarding new and existing clients to ensure a consistently exceptional client experience. The BI business line is currently undergoing a transformation focusing on digitalisation, introducing new systems and methods of working to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. The Account Life Cycle (ALC) team plays a crucial role in this transformation, undertaking the standing data activities necessary for opening, closing, and updating accounts on internal systems. Main duties include data input and validation relating to securities and cash account management in accordance with group and local policies. Additionally, the analyst will act as a subject matter expert for all ALC-related topics while developing strong relationships across various internal areas to deliver excellent client service while adhering to a robust risk control framework.

Job Duties:

  • Input, review, and validate data related to securities and cash account opening, closing, and maintenance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for ALC-related topics, including account opening, amendments, closures, and enquiries.
  • Foster strong relationships across internal areas utilising the ALC team to provide outstanding client service while adhering to risk controls.
  • Ensure complete and accurate data input into systems based on received information.
  • Maintain accurate records of arrangements and data changes.
  • Support any initial outsource processes and oversee key functions transitioned to centralised service hubs.
  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency through improved processes while mitigating risk.
  • Assist in documenting processes and procedures.
  • Provide project support to implement initiatives across the wider department.
  • Adhere to compliance, credit, operational, and key control processes as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Offer ad hoc support and assistance to other areas within BI as required.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a banking and securities environment.
  • Knowledge of global financial markets.
  • Proficient in computer literacy for inputting, reviewing, and validating data.
  • Understanding of local regulatory standards.
  • Holds or is working towards a professional qualification in the finance industry.
