Senior Trust Officer

This role involves the day-to-day administration of a portfolio comprising various Client Company and trust structures. The individual will undertake specific additional tasks as required and work alongside the Fiduciary management team to enhance profitability, mitigate risks for both clients and the firm, and deliver a high-quality service. Duties will include managing client relationships through the administration of complex client cases, financial report preparation, and understanding offshore trust and company practices. The Senior Trust Officer will need to liaise with investment advisors and asset managers while ensuring both client and company expectations are aligned. Regular communication is vital in maintaining profitable business relationships, respecting client confidentiality, and addressing technical issues creatively.

Job Duties:

  • Manage client relationships effectively, ensuring a quality service.
  • Administer a diverse portfolio of complex client cases, including bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of offshore trust principles and practices.
  • Liaise with intermediaries, advisors, and third parties regarding client affairs.
  • Assess financial assets and market performance, anticipating implications for client portfolios.
  • Review company or trust accounts and possess broad knowledge of relevant tax issues.
  • Identify and propose service improvements for clients and profitability.
  • Develop good working relations with professional intermediaries to enhance business opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five to ten years’ experience in fiduciary services.
  • C category qualification under the local guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore fiduciary services and complex issues.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management.
  • Familiarity with compliance issues and the regulatory framework of fiduciary business.
