Administrator, Trust

This role involves providing essential administrative support to a team managing a diverse portfolio of clients. The position includes full-time engagement with no specified contract length. The successful candidate will assist in various administrative tasks such as setting up and maintaining client information, conducting day-to-day bookkeeping, and managing bank account-related activities. The role also requires effective communication and collaboration within a friendly and progressive team environment. As part of the responsibilities, the candidate will prepare documentation for senior team members, develop an understanding of relevant policies, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the team's operations. Job Duties:

  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of client information and statutory records.
  • Complete day-to-day bookkeeping for companies and trusts up to trial balance, including monthly reconciliations.
  • Assist with the opening and closing of entity bank accounts and manage incoming funds.
  • Liaise with bankers over remittances and investment transactions.
  • Prepare routine investment review minutes and emails for senior team members.
  • Develop an understanding of the firm’s policies and procedures.
  • Gain awareness of tax implications and the formation of legal entities and trusts.
  • Update the timekeeping system to meet utilisation targets.

Job Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a minimum of 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade 4 (or C) and above, to include English and Maths.
  • Effective and confident communication skills with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to organise work schedules over the short term with appropriate support.
  • Capability to work to specified standards and propose solutions for straightforward issues.
  • Positive and committed approach to teamwork and excellent client service.
  • Compliance with the firm's Information Security Policy and procedures.
