Manager, Corporate Services

The role of Manager within the Corporate Services department involves supervising and managing a team that provides administration and other services to both corporate and private fund client entities across various asset classes, including real estate. The position requires overseeing a diverse portfolio while identifying and pursuing business development and marketing opportunities. The selected individual will ensure that the team administers the client portfolio to high standards, adhering to the policies and procedures of the firm. Responsibilities include managing client transactions, reviewing documentation prepared by the administration team, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and advisers. The role also involves supporting team members with their personal targets and conducting periodic appraisals to foster growth and confidence within the team. The Manager will work closely with other senior staff to enhance the operational efficiency of the business and facilitate its growth.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and lead a team of administration staff managing a portfolio of corporate and private fund clients
  • Ensure the team administers the client portfolio to a high standard in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures
  • Manage client transactions and review documentation prepared by the administration team before presenting to Directors
  • Oversee the billing and debt collection for the client portfolio
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the team, intermediaries, clients, and client advisers
  • Identify any training needs for the team and provide day-to-day support to build their confidence and knowledge
  • Monitor the team’s financial and members’ personal targets, addressing any areas of concern in a timely manner
  • Conduct periodic appraisals and feedback meetings for team members
  • Serve as a class “B” Signatory on the firm’s authorised signing mandate
  • Collaborate with other managers and senior staff to develop business operations and promote growth

Job Requirements:

  • CGI/STEP Diploma or equivalent completed, with an aim to obtain CGI/STEP Professional or equivalent if not already achieved; or Qualified Accountant (by qualification through a professional body); or relevant qualification for the function
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • Completion of Management Training
  • Demonstrated people management skills and experience
