This role involves taking responsibility for the day-to-day administration of two Private Equity funds and assisting with the administration of various other funds. The successful candidate will expand their private equity knowledge within a motivated in-house administration team. The fund structures are complex, with regulations in both Jersey and Luxembourg. Key duties will comprise the preparation and review of legal registers, capital calls, and distributions, as well as quarterly and annual reporting. The individual will handle transactions, liaise with external parties such as lawyers and auditors, and maintain investor data. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously, alongside effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate must also ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout their work. Job Duties:
- Handle all aspects of private equity fund administration and company secretarial duties
- Prepare and review legal registers, calls, distributions, and financial reporting
- Process drawdown requests for capital call and lending facilities
- Format and review payments related to funds
- Maintain investor data in compliance with agreed procedures
- Schedule and distribute documents for board meetings
- Attend and record minutes at board meetings, responding to directors' queries
- Execute transactions through document preparation and management
- Assist with the establishment and winding up of fund entities
- Liaise with lawyers, auditors, directors, and depositaries as necessary
- Manage documentation for signing using DocuSign
- Prepare annual statutory filings and tax returns
- Utilise AI technology to enhance operational efficiency
- Contribute to policy and procedure reviews for best practice implementation
- Support compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
- Collaborate with the Corporate Governance team on projects
- Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory developments
- Undertake AML/CDD training as required
- Pursue ongoing skill enhancement and Continuous Professional Development
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Private Equity fund administration
- Relevant professional qualifications (ICSA / STEP) preferred
- Strong understanding of investments, funds, and treasury functions
- Familiarity with limited partnership structures beneficial
- Company Secretarial background advantageous
- Knowledge of software such as Investran, eQ, or Viewpoint is advantageous
- Relevant academic qualifications including GCSEs (English and Maths at A* – B) and A Levels or a degree
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
