Our client is seeking a Senior Officer to join their team, playing a crucial role in assisting with the management of fiduciary accounts within their Private Client Fiduciary Services (PCFS) business. This position is located in Jersey and is full-time. You will be responsible for managing a designated list of fiduciary entities, including trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships, while providing tailored services with the support of various fiduciary and professional services teams.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist Fiduciaries in the management of a portfolio of trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships, coordinating with relevant teams.
- Participate in regular client and advisor visits to enhance relationships with stakeholders.
- Support Fiduciaries in procedural matters overseen by Fiduciary Management.
- Analyze client requests and collaborate with Fiduciaries to provide technical input as required.
- Assist with fee reviews to ensure service delivery aligns with business plans and meet fee collection goals.
- Manage communications with clients by signing off in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and assist in addressing audit points.
- Take on coaching and mentoring roles as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be studying towards or have completed a Category A or B level qualification under Jersey Financial Services Commission Regulations or Guernsey Financial Services Commission Codes of Practice.
- Proven experience in fiduciary operations relating to trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships.
- Commitment to maintaining minimum annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required by regulatory authorities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
