Our client is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join their Family Office Team in Guernsey. This full-time role will involve providing high-quality administration services for a multi-billion family trust structure, while liaising with a prominent family office located abroad. You will play a crucial role in managing a variety of assets, including trading companies, financial investments, private equity, and more. Working closely with a dynamic team, you will assist with both short-term and long-term administration projects, ensuring that the clients receive a service that aligns with the organisation’s values. The ideal candidate will also contribute to risk management and compliance efforts, providing essential support to various stakeholders.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide efficient and timely administration services for a family trust structure.
- Collaborate with the family office to deliver high-quality support in alignment with company values.
- Assist in managing risk factors by reviewing administration and compliance work.
- Act as a “C” Signatory when required.
- Provide oversight to ensure financial information meets the accountants’ requirements for drafting statements.
- Undertake FATCA/CRS reporting and similar tasks.
- Maintain proactive relationships with clients and support their expectations within legal frameworks.
- Participate in joint projects with clients and family offices, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Manage the opening of client bank and investment accounts along with related tasks.
- Prepare payments and monitor transactions for accuracy.
- Maintain Business Central and DMS databases with up-to-date information.
- Support team members generally, fostering a harmonious working atmosphere.
- Keep up-to-date with continuing professional development (CPD) requirements and industry developments.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess strong relevant experience with family office structures.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and excellent organisation.
- A qualification in STEP, CGI, ACCA, or a similar professional designation is preferable or actively working towards one.
- Exhibit proactivity and independent problem-solving abilities.
- Show capability to meet deadlines and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Be a brand ambassador, embodying the values of empowering responsible ambition.
