Senior Trust Administrator

Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent Senior Administrator to join their Administration Team in Jersey. This role is essential in delivering high-quality, thoughtful, and personal service, ensuring that operations are smooth, compliant, and focused on the client. As a Senior Administrator, you will report directly to the Administration Team Director and play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of client transactions, mentoring team members, and contributing to the overall success of the organisation. In this position, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks while maintaining high standards of compliance and client service. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and liaise with advisors and banks to ensure seamless operations.

JOB DUTIES:

  • You will deliver co-ordinated, efficient, and compliant administration across your portfolio of client transactions.
  • You will strengthen the internal team’s capability by mentoring and sharing knowledge with team members.
  • You will contribute to the bottom line revenue by achieving recovery rates and targets.
  • You will liaise with advisors, banks, and professionals to ensure smooth administration.
  • You will maintain accurate client data in fiduciary systems.
  • You will manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact, and responding to queries promptly and professionally.
  • You will identify opportunities for new business and refer these to the New Business team for potential pursuit.
  • You will provide technical support to Senior Managers.
  • You will assist with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), Customer Due Diligence (CDD)/Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)/Common Reporting Standard (CRS), and risk reviews.
  • You will draft minutes and file notes from telephone calls and meetings using company templates and standards.
  • You will control your own work, billing, and debtor management in line with relevant internal policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • You should have attained or be working towards a STEP or CGI qualification.
  • You must possess a minimum of three years’ experience in the trust and company services (TSCP) sector.
  • You need demonstrable technical experience in the administration of trusts and offshore fiduciary structures.
  • You should possess strong client relationship management skills, delivering service that is professional and personable.
  • You should bring a practical approach and proactive energy to your work.
  • You must be organised, with a strong ability to manage your inbox, calendar, and digital filing system effectively.
  • You should be tech confident, with the ability to leverage systems and applications to increase efficiency.
