Senior Administrator, Private Wealth

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of client company and trust structures. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the provision of high-quality client services and will be a full-time permanent position. You will work closely with the Fiduciary management team to enhance profitability, mitigate risks, and deliver exceptional service to clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of complex client cases, relationship management, and risk management. You will liaise with various stakeholders to ensure client needs are met, while also providing insights that may improve processes and client satisfaction.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage client relationships and undertake day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio of client cases, ensuring efficient bookkeeping entries and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of offshore trusts, companies, and related structures to ensure alignment with client expectations throughout the relationship.
  • Foster long-term, profitable business relationships with clients while ensuring confidentiality is upheld.
  • Liaise with investment advisors, asset managers, and other relevant third parties concerning client matters as needed.
  • Apply financial asset management principles to assess market performance impacts on client portfolios.
  • Critically review company or trust accounts and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Understand tax issues as they relate to clients and anticipate technical problems, applying innovative solutions when necessary.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with professional intermediaries and service providers to facilitate the conduct of client business.
  • Develop existing client relationships and explore new business opportunities by understanding client needs through effective listening and questioning.
  • Stay informed of market changes and service developments that could affect offshore structures and add value to client relationships.
  • Adhere to local legislation relating to fiduciary business, including anti-money laundering and relevant reporting requirements.
  • Proactively manage risk situations to protect both client and organisational assets, ensuring timely resolution of client complaints.
  • Champion the client’s values, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and personal accountability within the team.
  • Balance client needs with commercial expectations to meet the organisation’s financial benchmarks, reviewing work in progress and managing financial targets.
  • Support and mentor subordinate staff within your area of responsibility, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Engage in personal and professional development by participating in seminars and industry-related activities to enhance knowledge in wealth management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educated to A level with at least five to ten years’ experience in fiduciary services.
  • Must qualify as a C category person under local regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of offshore fiduciary services and a proven track record of managing complex offshore fiduciary issues.
  • Strong background in client relationship management.
  • Familiarity with compliance issues and the regulatory framework pertinent to fiduciary operations.
