Senior Fund & Investment Administrator

Our client is seeking a full-time Senior Fund and Investment Administrator to join their team in Guernsey. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the administration of fund management services. You will be responsible for the collection and review of shareholder Client Due Diligence, processing of shareholder deals, and preparing fund valuations using the AcuFund accounting system. In addition, you will communicate with shareholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and liaise with custodians and auditors. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines while fostering productive relationships within the team and with external partners.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Collect and review shareholder Client Due Diligence and account opening documentation.
  • Process shareholder deals accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and check fund valuations on a Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annual, and Annual basis using the AcuFund accounting system.
  • Review Investment Advisor trade recommendations to ensure compliance with the fund’s investment restrictions and communicate instructions to the fund’s custodian.
  • Manage shareholder communications and oversee fund fee payments using various banking systems.
  • Perform client bank account reconciliations and conduct file and risk reviews of fund shareholders.
  • Liaise with fund custodians and auditors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with compliance to regulatory requirements and project work as needed.
  • Check trade orders prior to authorization and place trades for trust and company clients.
  • Process trade payments and update security prices as required.
  • Maintain various internal spreadsheets and complete AML documentation for fund managers.
  • Manage cash dividend payments and facilitate dividend reinvestments.
  • Prepare monthly market comparison reports and monitor central investment email boxes.
  • Prepare and check funds’ regulatory returns, FATCA/CRS reporting, and administration reports for inclusion in funds’ board packs.
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in fund administration, with a strong numerical aptitude.
  • A good understanding of accruals and pre-payments is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • You should be able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is necessary.
  • ICA or Guernsey Offshore Certificate is preferable; however, experience in fund administration is essential.
