Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Change team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time position will be based in St Helier, Jersey, supporting the organisation in delivering its strategic priorities within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing Jersey's reputation as an International Financial Centre, contributing to both large-scale technology projects and smaller operational improvements. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable requirements, ensuring alignment among stakeholders, and tracking the benefits of change initiatives. You will adapt to evolving project priorities, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and support the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies across the organisation.
JOB DUTIES:
- Drive successful strategic project delivery by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that directly enable measurable organisational outcomes.
- Utilise a range of structured workshopping techniques to elicit, validate, and refine business requirements, resulting in clear, prioritised, and stakeholder deliverables that accelerate decision-making and implementations.
- Lead benefit realisation of internal and external benefits by identifying, tracking, and evidencing both qualitative and quantitative measures to demonstrate success and the value of change initiatives.
- Adapt quickly to evolving priorities with a responsive hands-on approach and remain flexible to ensure project milestones are achieved and operational excellence initiatives deliver intended improvements.
- Build trust and maintain alignment by communicating transparently, proactively managing expectations, and ensuring stakeholder needs are consistently met or exceeded.
- Strengthen organisational capability by supporting training colleagues in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and embedding a measurable culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Support delivering on the organisation's strategic priorities, driving improvements on processes and systems while maintaining high standards of governance in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and celebrate project success through measurable benefits.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- The successful candidate will have a demonstratable background in business analysis and associated qualifications.
- They will possess the ability to negotiate, mediate, and tailor explanations of complex processes, procedures, and concepts to the relevant audience, along with strong creative problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
