Associate Trust Officer, Client Services

Our client is looking for an Associate Trust Officer in Client Services to provide comprehensive support in the administration of trust and company structures, based in Guernsey. This full-time position is designed for individuals with a solid fiduciary background and a focus on delivering exceptional client service. The role involves managing complex client matters and requires effective communication and relationship management skills to enhance the overall client experience. You will work closely with senior colleagues and have the opportunity to coach junior team members, contributing to the development of a collaborative team environment while ensuring compliance with all relevant internal policies.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Apply technical judgement on more complex client matters.
  • Analyse issues and recommend solutions.
  • Coach junior colleagues and share knowledge to foster a supportive team atmosphere.
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients and advisers, contributing to broader client service delivery.
  • Deliver accurate and compliant administration of assigned mandates.
  • Build relationships across teams and develop client exposure.
  • Communicate clearly and diligently follow established policies and procedures.
  • Seek learning opportunities and apply feedback constructively.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hold 4 to 7 years of experience in the administration of trust and company structures.
  • Be STEP or ICSA qualified with a robust fiduciary background.
  • Have direct experience in dealing with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) in a private banking or fiduciary environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong focus on customer service excellence.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, capable of problem-solving and acting independently on mandates.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan effectively to complete multiple tasks to a high standard.
  • Exhibit reliability, conscientiousness, and professionalism.
  • Possess good communication skills and be adaptable as a team player.
