Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director in Private Capital to join their team. This full-time position involves proactive entity management, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery throughout the entity lifecycle. The role is based in a prestigious jurisdiction catering to high-net-worth (HNW) international families and offers an opportunity for significant engagement with clients and third-party service providers. The successful applicant will work closely with Client Directors, maintaining data accuracy and supporting fiduciary decisions. You will also be responsible for liaising with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal policies while fostering effective communication within the team.
JOB DUTIES:
- Work closely with Client Directors on proactive entity management and maintenance from the late onboarding stage through the full structure lifecycle, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
- Ensure data and records of all entities are up to date, accurate, and in line with documented requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver all client work and communication in line with our client's vision and values and expected service standards, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are current at all times.
- Demonstrate excellence in communication with clients and third parties, whether verbal or written, showcasing technical awareness and cultural affinity as appropriate.
- Support highly effective fiduciary decision-making, including thorough preparation of comprehensive and considered case input for discussions in Client Risk Forum, Investment Governance Forum, and others as necessary.
- Liaise effectively with third-party service providers to execute client needs and build relationships that support future referrals.
- Maintain up to date and accurate time recording to meet utilisation and profitability targets, demonstrating appropriate commerciality in all dealings.
- Undertake appropriate reviews and workflows, addressing identified issues promptly and sharing learnings with Client Directors and the wider team.
- Ensure satisfactory resolution of risk review actions and timely completion of all regulatory filings.
- Mentor and share knowledge with more junior Client Management and Administration colleagues, role modelling appropriate group behaviours.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess the ability to act independently whilst knowing when to escalate and seek guidance.
- Demonstrate positive collaboration with all Private Wealth colleagues and wider stakeholders.
- Manage director duties of client entities and/or affiliate members as required.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all internal policies and regulatory/legal requirements.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and liaise with Client Directors accordingly.
- Share client and structure knowledge with nominated alternates.
- Act as a fully effective nominated alternate for others where required.
- Maintain awareness of technical developments and market trends.
- Contribute effectively to group projects as necessary.
- Fulfil the role of authorised client signatory in line with approved limits.
- Keep current with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and maintain technical awareness.
- Be prepared for occasional business travel subject to workload status.
