Temporary Risk & Operations Developer

Our client is seeking a Risk and Operations Developer to join their team, with the opportunity to work on a permanent or temporary basis. This role is essential as the client manages a significant amount of data housed in various systems and locations. To effectively access this data, candidates will require a blend of understanding, knowledge, and skills across multiple areas and systems. The client currently operates three separate instances of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems: Core, Online Submissions, and the PQ Portal. In adherence to best practices, the client aims to implement updated versions of these CRM systems by 2026, which involves addressing several critical data challenges in advance of the upgrade. Additionally, there are existing gaps in data collection and storage methods that need resolution to improve effective supervision in key domains, including fund supervision and the provision of timely management information regarding authorisations.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate on the upgrade of CRM instances and resolve data issues prior to implementation.
  • Identify and rectify gaps in data collection and storage methodologies.
  • Support effective supervision in various areas, including fund supervision.
  • Facilitate the timely distribution of management information related to authorisations.
  • Engage with technical tools and methodologies, including DevOps, JIRA, and agile working practices.
  • Develop and maintain integration services and microservices using Dynamics 365, MS Power platform, and Ouvvi.
  • Utilise APIs, Angular, Power BI as part of data handling and integration tasks.
  • Code and implement solutions using C#.NET and Python.
  • Work within Azure and other cloud-hosted platforms, leveraging SharePoint Online, data warehouses, and data lakes.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience with DevOps and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with agile working practices and waterfall project methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, MS Power platform, and data integration services.
  • Proficient in APIs, Angular, and Power BI.
  • Strong programming skills in C#.NET and Python.
  • Experience with Azure and cloud-hosted platforms.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online, data warehouses, and data lakes.
